Daily Routine at LMS-SCHULE
Before lessons begin
All students are welcome to meet with friends or to enjoy some quiet time in the school before lessons begin. Doors open at 7.30am. This service is free of charge.
Scheduled lessons
LMS primary and secondary school students begin lessons at 8.15am. Mornings are divided into four lessons and include a 30-minute break following the second lesson. There are no lessons on Wednesday afternoons.
All students enjoy eating lunch together in the Mensa. Meals are freshly prepared and delivered daily. After lunch, students are free to enjoy some fresh air and exercise outside by the Rotsee playing field, or simply chat with friends outside school’s main doors.
Primary school afternoon lessons finish at 2.30pm and secondary school finishes at 4.15pm.
Supervised after-school care
Primary school students at LMS-SCHULE may take advantage of two supervised after-school options. Students may choose to attend our homework support service from 2.30-3.15pm. Students also have the option of enrolling in our After-School Club and participating in a variety of interesting classes. Classes are taught by skilled professionals and include chess, theatre, creative movement/ballet, art and design, Lego, music and football. New classes may be formed according to children’s interests and demand.
Secondary students may also take advantage of our free and supervised after-school homework support service. This takes place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4.15-5.00pm
